@AscapExperience : Shaggy's Boombastic Journey - Home Edition 2020

ASCAP Experience Home Edition

Global recording star, DJ, actor, and philanthropist Shaggy is undoubtedly one of reggae music's most influential cultural ambassadors. In the '90s and early '2000s, he brought dancehall to the mainstream with massive hits like "Boombastic", "In the Summertime", "It Wasn't Me", and "Angel". While Shaggy has long embraced opportunities to collaborate with artists from across the genre spectrum (including Sting, on their Grammy-Winning joint album 44/876), he's always stayed true to his passion for the music that made him a household name. In this illuminating session, Shaggy and his manager Martin Kierszenbaum will reveal how this one-of-a-kind music creator got to where he is now, how he's sustained his success and the enduring impact of dancehall. You'll also get the inside scoop on Hot Shot 2020, and updated version of his breakthrough 2000 record Hot Shot dropping just in time for its 20th anniversary. Moderated by ASCAP EVP of membership John Tiita.

Oh Lord, I'm so happy, I don't even know where to start! Ok... I am a victim of the 90's eyebrow trend, I had pencil thin eyebrows and I have thin hair so growing them back was out of the question. For years I've been trying different things to help grow my brows back, but I just got stuck drawing my brows for the next 19 years and I can never get them close enough. As years went by, my brows just kept getting thinner and thinner til I literally had just about a line of hair growing...that's it!  My Story I never had really thick brows growing up but they fit me for what I was born within the trend in the 80's. It wasn't til 2006 I started to learn to apply makeup and use brow pencils to fill in my eyebrows and I got better as the years went by but I was nervous giving myself the full ombre eyebrows that are trending right now. As you can see, I always played it safe drawing on my eyebrows and even tho I used good products to make them stay all day
